My paintings employ the use of unconventional techniques to evoke highly charged atmosphere. Previously I ran Manchester Etching Workshop and Two Rivers handmade paper Mill, both disciplines inform my working techniques. My work has been exhibited at the Royal Academy on 13 occasions and my work is represented in over 20 public collections in worldwide.

I create using my sewing and embroidery machine making quilts, cushions, gift and cosmetic bags, notebook covers and more. I use a lot of fabric scraps in my creativity and will be demonstrating various techniques I use in the process including machine embroidery and appliqué.

Photography, mainly landscapes and detailed elements within them that utilise texture and form to help tell a story.
