Coastal inspired, hand-built ceramics with drippy glazes reminiscent of Hebridean seas. Selkies, seashells, ammonites and undulating rims all feature in my work. I make mugs, bowls, vases, coffee scoops, soap dishes, smoke fired seals, airplant jellyfish, seabird boxes, treasure nooks for displaying your beach finds, and sometimes sculpture.

Splash, scratch, drip – Seabelle Studio is where I create expressive mixed media paintings inspired by the Stonehaven coastline. Inky blues meet seafoam greens to create moonlit dreams of where sky meets sea.

I have been making monoprints, intaglio and linocut prints inspired by expressionism, world events & social issues. Artworks on the themes of Planet B, Trump, apocalypse, slavery, SSE, religion, Musk, Putin, abstraction and parmigiana di melanzane will be included. This year I have also been experimenting by making prints using rubbish including Tetra Pak.

The landscapes of mountains, rock and ice provide endless inspiration for my work. I try to find ways to express the deep awe and wonder of wild spaces, through paint, print and artists’ books. Sarah Leask is an illustrator from The Shetland Isles, living and working from her home studio in Aberdeen. She began creating watercolour artwork in 2017 which later grew into a business, Sarah Leask Studio.
