At its core, my art explores our deep connection with nature and how our inner lives are shaped by the environment. This perspective runs through my work, reminding us we are intricately woven into the world. I combine art and design aesthetics to create work that is visually striking and rich in meaning.

Jenny Fraser Harris explores resilience, both human and environmental, through abstract painting, printmaking and layered materials. A graduate of Glasgow School of Art, her work seeks to stretch time and consider the long-term, whilst examining the intricate relationships between people and land.

My inspiration for my mixed media work comes from my love of the natural world. I’m really interested in using collage combined with painting and drawing to add depth and interest to my work depicting both landscape and animals. I try to add a feeling of mood, movement and variety by mixing abstract and realism.

I enjoy breathing new life into pre-loved pieces of furniture, giving them a makeover. Whether it be with new upholstery, sanding down, oiling the wood or painting them in a way that is sensitive to the original style. I also find a lot of joy in taking on commissions. You will find me at home […]
